Lion Miniature – Lying Lion Forged in Steel (Z49)

Z49 is a miniature of a lying lion made by hand from steel. Its calm pose and the rich mane make it a small sculpture with great presence.

A mane of separate curls

The mane is the heart of this piece. It is made of hundreds of short, curved strips of steel, each shaped separately and set around the head and chest, so the lion looks wild and majestic even in miniature. The face is calm, with a broad nose and attentive eyes.

Smooth body, strong paws

In contrast to the mane, the body is smooth and bright. The front paws are stretched forward with clearly marked toes, and the tail curls along the side and ends in a tuft. The silvery finish shows every detail.

A symbol of strength

A lion stands for courage and leadership, which makes this miniature a fitting gift for a business owner, someone born under the sign of Leo or a collector. It suits a desk, a cabinet or a mantelpiece. A larger example of this motif is our lion metal sculpture, and more creatures are shown among our metal animal sculptures.
