Classic Steel Window Grille (AKR8)

AKR8 is all about protection, done with style. Thick, massive bars stand close together, some of them twisted, with oval scroll inserts between them, and a row of scrolls runs along the top rail.

It makes an excellent burglar deterrent for ground-floor windows, and the pattern can be extended to any width.

A crest of scrolls on top

Vertical bars, some of them twisted, alternate with panels of curls, and a crest of scrolls runs along the top. The simple, regular drawing suits many facades, from brick to stone cladding, as in the photo. We make grilles of this type for windows and doors and match the dimensions to the opening, and our forged window grilles include more designs in the same spirit.
