Dragon on the Tower – Forged Sculpture (Z INOX 14)

This dragon hovers above a tower with a wingspan of 97 cm (38 in) and a length of 94 cm from nose to tail. It is hand-made of stainless steel and coloured by heat.

Because it is large, it is designed to come apart: the dragon unscrews from the tower and the tail from the frame. Height 67 cm, weight 9.5 kg.

Heat-coloured wings

The wings are cut from stainless sheet and coloured by heat into gold, copper and violet shades, so no paint is needed and the colours will not wear off. The tower below is built from separate boards and steps, with a small door and a railing, which makes the base worth looking at on its own. Because the dragon and its tail can be taken off, the figure travels safely in a parcel; smaller relatives are shown among our stainless steel figures.
