Elegant Full Wrought Iron Gate (BP166)

BP166 is very richly decorated, forged by traditional blacksmith methods into flowing leaves and scrolls that run across a wavy top. Only the decorative crest along the wavy top line is openwork; the leaves themselves are full and give complete privacy.

It is made from very thick materials, and a gate like this weighs roughly as much as a passenger car.

More sculpture than gate

The wavy top line rises towards the centre into a decorative crest, and the full leaves are covered with dense, hand-forged ornament of leaves, flowers and scrolls, brought out by a brown patina on a dark ground, so the gate looks more like a sculpture than a typical entrance. It is a model for clients who value blacksmith craft in its purest form and expect full privacy, made to measure and hot-dip galvanized.
