Entrance Gate to the House (BP201)

BP201 is an entrance gate built around a large round motif spread across both leaves: concentric rings with a central medallion, surrounded by forged scrolls.

The gate is mostly solid, with small openings that keep it from looking heavy, and a band of Greek key pattern runs along its lower edge. A gently rising top line emphasises the centre of the drive. It is double-sided, with the same ornament on both faces, and its decoration is balanced: restrained and rich at the same time.

The full infill gives privacy, and the bold circle reads clearly from the street, so the gate works for a family house as well as for a residence. In the photo the round motif lines up with the gable of the house behind it, and the dark steel stands out against the light paving.

Size, colour and finish
