Exclusive Oriental Forged Fence (BP89)

BP89 is one of the most beautiful fence panels we make. Its high arched crest carries a mascaron above a large shield-shaped medallion among bronze-toned scrolls, in the oriental style that suits luxurious villas.

It is made from very thick materials, and every panel is finished to the same standard.

Forged steel and moulded detail

BP89 joins two crafts in one panel. The structure, the bars and the scrolls are forged by hand, while the most sculptural details, such as the mascaron and the medallion, are formed in moulds and then finished and fixed to the steel. This combination gives the fence a depth of relief that pure forging would reach only with enormous effort, and it lets us repeat a sculpted face or vase identically on every span.

Few workshops anywhere still make fences in this technique, and it is one of the reasons we consider BP89 among the most beautiful panels in our collection.

An oriental crest in bronze tones

The high, arched crest is the heart of the design. Bronze-toned scrolls curl around the mascaron and the large medallion beneath it, which gives the panel a vertical accent that is visible from far away. Below the crest, a regular structure of bars keeps the boundary secure and calms the composition. The oriental character comes from the curves of the crest and the warm metallic colours, which suit luxurious villas and residences with exotic gardens.

Every detail of BP89 can be adjusted

BP89 is made to any size, so it can be fitted precisely to the length and slope of your frontage. The amount of decoration can be reduced for side boundaries or increased near the entrance, and the finish can be chosen freely, from bronze and antique gold to black with gilded highlights. Thanks to this, each realisation is a little different, even though the pattern is the same.

A fence this rich still has to be practical. The moulded details are fixed with bolts hidden in the ornament, so they cannot be removed from outside, and all steel parts are protected against corrosion before painting.
