Forged Baroque Palace Entrance (BP262)

BP262 is a palace entrance in full splendour. Massive materials are used throughout, and every detail was forged in a traditional hearth by our best blacksmiths and metalworkers.

The crown is fixed and does not open, and the entrance beneath it is tall enough for high vehicles to pass. Between classical stone pillars with carved capitals, as in the photo, it forms an entrance for real connoisseurs. A design you can see in Dębica

The design in the photos can be seen in person in our showroom in Dębica, southern Poland. Standing in front of it is the best way to judge the scale of the scrolls and the depth of the relief, which photographs never quite capture.

Baroque abundance, strict symmetry

Baroque architecture is known for variety, richness and a certain splendour, and BP262 shows all three. Two swing leaves hang on tall side sections, decorative bands and scrolls fill every field, and an oval vault of curling forms crowns the whole entrance. The two leaves mirror each other exactly, which gives all this abundance a sense of order and calm.

Against classical architecture

A baroque gate belongs with classical and classicist buildings, and it works equally well with masonry walls and metal fences. The steel is hot-dip galvanized and painted, so it needs no impregnation and keeps its finish for many years. Gates of this calibre have gone to estates across Europe and to clients overseas, from country houses in Virginia to residences outside London.

Light to open, safe to use

Despite its generous size, the leaves of BP262 open very lightly and smoothly, which gives the household a higher level of comfort. The gate is fully resistant to the weather and does not age, so even after many years it keeps its splendid appearance. Beyond its beauty, it provides a high level of security and practicality, which makes it an embodiment of the baroque style that is meant to be used every day.
