Forged Forest Gate with an Oak and Eagle (BM39)

At the centre of BM39 stands a huge, three-dimensional old oak made of steel. When the gate opens, the oak splits neatly into two halves, a moment guests never forget.

An eagle with spread wings sits on top, and smaller birds rest among the branches. It is an ideal gate for nature lovers and homes near the forest.

A metre-deep gate that still opens

The gate is about 100 cm (3 ft 3 in) thick, yet it opens without trouble and takes no room away from the driveway, thanks to the special opening system we use for our three-dimensional entrance gates. The gate in the photos is hand-forged and weighs about 1,000 kg (2,200 lb).

Above the boughs of the mighty oak the eagle spreads its wings as the crown of the whole composition, visible from far away, so the gate works both as an entrance and as a monumental garden sculpture. Gates of this type can be seen in person at our premises in Dębica.
