Handmade Forged Acanthus Style Wall Lamp (OGD95)

OGD95 is a small hand-made sconce: a clear glass globe rising from a cup of forged acanthus leaves, with every detail made by a master blacksmith.

The cup of hand-shaped leaves resembles a horn of plenty, and a brown patina emphasises the deep grooves in each leaf. Because the acanthus is forged by hand, no two lamps are ever exactly the same, and even a piece this small has a great deal of character.

Under the eaves or by the door

The sconce looks good under the eaves, as in the photo, beside a front door, in a gazebo or on a covered terrace. The clear globe lets the light spread evenly, and the leaves below it stay visible in the evening.

A small lamp with many uses

OGD95 can be mounted singly or in a row along a wall, and the patina can be changed to suit the facade. Similar sconces are shown among our forged wall lamps.
