Loft Entrance Gate (BP191)

BP191 is a well-tempered loft gate.

Vertical timber boards are held in a steel frame, forged strap hinges run across them like on an old barn door, and a light arch of scrolls sits on top.

The amount of decoration is chosen to keep the loft feel while giving the gate a touch of elegance. For a heavier version with weathered wood, see gate BP192.

Hinge straps and rivets

The steel frame is filled with dark wood, the arched crest with forged scrolls adds elegance, and the decorative hinge straps and rivets emphasise the craftsmanship of the construction. It is a good choice for houses with wood on the facade and for rustic properties; we make it to measure and protect the steel part with hot-dip galvanizing.
