Massive Forged Full Gate (BP267)

BP267 is majestic and extremely heavy. A massive crown arches over the leaves, and beneath it the surface is crowded with blacksmith detail: lattice trusses, rivets, studs and forged leaves.

It is made in double-sided technology, so the same pattern appears on both faces, and we build it to any size. The gate looks most at home between thick stone walls, as in the photo.

A forged portal

The gate takes the form of a forged portal: an arched cornice ending in decorative balls runs above the leaves, and the field beneath it is filled with openwork ornament of gold scrolls. The leaves themselves combine full panels, lattice and vertical bars into a multi-layered, very sculptural composition. It is meant for residences where the gate should be both a barrier and an architectural accent, designed for a specific opening and hot-dip galvanized.
