Peacock Sculpture in Steel, Copper and Glass (Z21)

Z21 is a majestic peacock more than 200 cm (6 ft 6 in) long. Its body is steel, and its tail feathers are decorated with copper and glass, so they shimmer in teal and gold.

Blue neck, turquoise tail

The peacock sits on a spreading forged trunk, and its long tail flows all the way to the ground. The neck and breast are an intense blue, and the turquoise tail carries coloured eyes. It is one of the most colourful pieces in our collection, ideal as the centrepiece of a garden. More examples of steel combined with other materials are shown among our metalwork.
