Polish Hussar Soldier – Metal Sculpture (Z89)
Z89 depicts the legendary Polish winged hussar, the heavy cavalry that won some of the most famous battles in European history.
The tall wings rise behind his back, and his armour, sabre and helmet are forged by hand.
Brass and copper details enrich the figure, the weapons are removable and the helmet can be adjusted. It is not painted: all its colours come from traditional ageing of the metals.
No moulded parts
Every detail of the hussar was made by hand using traditional artistic blacksmithing; the figure contains no moulded elements. We can create any other figure to order in the same way.
220 cm tall
The figure is 220 cm tall. In the photos it stands indoors beside a brick fireplace, where the warm tones of the brass and copper match the brick, and the close-ups show the helmet and the plates of the armour in detail.
