Rearing Stallion – Steel Horse Miniature (Z42)

Z42 is a miniature of a rearing stallion, forged by hand from steel. The horse rises on its hind legs above a rocky base.

Power in a small format

The stallion lifts both front legs high and bends its head towards the chest, so the whole body forms a strong curve. The muscles of the neck, the shoulders and the hind legs are clearly shaped, and the polished steel reflects light like a mirror, which makes the movement even more visible.

Mane, tail and base

The mane and the long tail are made of many curled strips of steel, so they seem to move in the wind. The horse stands on a dark, rugged base shaped like a rock, whose rough texture sets off the smooth, bright body. The photograph shows the sculpture in our workshop.
