Steel Forged Car – Retro Mercedes Style (AG3)

AG3 is a scaled-down steel sculpture of a classic retro car, with the unmistakable grille and headlamps of an old Mercedes. Its compartments open for storing wood and charcoal.

It is also a fully working garden grill: the cooking grate sits under the hood. More are among our blacksmith BBQ grills.

Spoked wheels and a radiator grille

The car has big spoked wheels, long curved mudguards, round headlamps and the tall radiator grille with a three-pointed star typical of pre-war Mercedes models, all hand-made in steel. In the photo it stands in our workshop just after it was finished. It works as a talking point in a garden, by a restaurant terrace or at a car enthusiast’s home, and other unusual pieces are shown among our forged vehicles.
