Iguana Forged from Steel – Metal Lizard on a Branch (Z45)

Z45 is an iguana forged by hand from steel. The lizard climbs over a twisted steel branch, with its long tail hanging down and curling at the tip.

Spikes and scales

A row of pointed spikes runs along the iguana’s back from the neck to the base of the tail. The whole body has a grainy, scaled texture made of countless small grains of steel, while the head is shaped with heavy brows, a large eye and folds of skin under the jaw.

The branch

The branch is made of several bright steel rods twisted together, with thin side shoots that the lizard holds with its long, clawed toes. It also forms the base of the sculpture, so the iguana can stand on a flat surface without any extra stand.
