Traditional Forged Wicket (BP29F)

BP29F follows the old rules of artistic blacksmithing: every joint is riveted, the design is typically blacksmith, and the material is strong and thick.

It is the companion wicket to our manor gate BP29.

Keeping the view open

Vertical bars and dense forged scrolls fill the arched leaf in a dark, elegant colour. The wicket keeps the view of the property open and forms a consistent, classical entrance with the gate shown above.

Riveted, not welded

Riveted joints are visible on the bars and scrolls, as in old forged work, and they give the wicket an authentic, craftsmanlike character. Hot-dip galvanizing protects it from corrosion, and we choose its size to fit the posts; you can compare it with the rest of our forged wickets.
