Wrought Iron Park and Garden Bench (MK14)

MK14 is a classic park and garden bench built from thick steel, with plenty of forged scrolls and small gold collars set against the black.

It is the kind of bench you remember from old city parks, only more carefully made. The seat and backrest are wide planks of dark-stained timber, fixed to the frame with visible bolts. Above the two backrest planks runs a crest of curling tendrils that meet in the middle, held together by small gold collars that add bright points to the black ironwork.

Arms, legs and a heavy frame

The armrests are forged in a soft curve that is comfortable to lean on. The legs are built up from several volutes and joined by a scrolled band under the seat, again with gold collars at every joint. Thanks to the thick material the bench looks stout and tidy: strong enough for a busy park and handsome enough for a private garden.

Single benches or a whole set for a park

MK14 looks as good on a lawn at home as it does along a park path or on a square, and its calm proportions sit easily beside hedges and paving. For larger sites we make several identical benches, so a park or a square gets a consistent look. The length, the wood colour and the amount of gold are agreed with you, and the steel is protected against corrosion so the bench can stay outdoors for many years.
