Forged Window Grille with Acanthus (AKR3)
Acanthus leaves have decorated architecture since ancient Greece, and on AKR3 they sprout along heavy, flowing bars like young growth on a vine. An antique gold patina picks out every leaf.

The grille is made of thick steel by our master blacksmiths, so it protects the window as well as decorating it. Leaf motifs like these also appear on our forged doors, should you want a matching entrance.
Leaves at the ends of the bars
The vertical bars end in forged leaves, and the centre holds a large, flowing ornament of acanthus and flowers, while a gold-brown finish highlights every leaf. We forge the acanthus in a blacksmith’s hearth and draw out the twists with a hammer, and other grilles are shown among our forged window grilles.
