Modern Metal Sculptures
Alongside traditional ironwork we create contemporary steel sculptures: figurative pieces with a modern edge and clean, geometric forms. Every one is shaped by hand in our workshop, so no two are ever quite the same.
They work indoors and outdoors, in a living room or a reception area as well as in a garden, a park or a town square, and we take on commissions of any size and theme.
Our modern sculptures
Made by hand, never in series
Steel is hard and demanding to work, which is exactly why these sculptures cannot be mass-produced. Each one is built up piece by piece by our metal artists, and each new version develops its own character. Many of our modern sculptures already stand in parks and squares, where they give a place its identity.
We work both from our own ideas and from designs supplied by clients, artists and architects. We can repeat a sculpture from our gallery, change its size or finish, or develop a completely new piece from a sketch.
Modern sculpture in the interior
Contemporary steel sculpture increasingly finds its way indoors: into living rooms, entrance halls, offices and hotel lobbies. Smaller pieces sit on a plinth or hang on a wall, while larger ones become the point around which a whole room is arranged. Our clasped hands “Love” and the Elegant Lady are good examples of sculptures that suit a minimalist interior of concrete, timber and glass.
A lasting work of art
Steel is timeless. A sculpture made from it is a pleasure to live with and keeps its value for generations. Outdoor pieces are protected against the weather, and the finish, from raw polished steel to dark patina or clear lacquer, is chosen for the place where the sculpture will stand.
