A Forged Loft Chair (MK55)

MK55 is a loft chair with a riveted steel frame, hand-made decorations and a seat and back of light wooden slats.

Its construction is complex, and its look strong and raw.

Pine boards and a fan crest

The chair is built from thick flat bars joined with rivets, and its back is formed by four horizontal boards of light pine. The top of the back carries a fan-shaped crest, and forged armrests with scrolls close the sides. Raw steel and light wood make a strong contrast, ideal for industrial interiors, restaurants or pubs, and the colour of the wood can be matched to the room. Loft-style seating like MK55 complements the classic forged chairs and armchairs we make.
