A Letterbox with a Wrought Bonsai Tree (Z61)
In Z61 a steel mail bag hangs from the branches of a bonsai tree, forged as a bas-relief and fixed to the wall. Together they make a striking metal composition.

It is one of our most unusual letterboxes. A similar tree can carry your house number, see the bonsai house sign.
A sculpture that takes the post
The bag is shaped like an old leather satchel, with a flap and straps, and it hangs from a branch so the postman can lift the flap and drop the letters inside. Below it a short forged tube holds newspapers. Set in a brick niche, the whole piece looks like a small garden scene rather than a mailbox, and other unusual designs can be found among our forged letterboxes.
