Elegant Garden Palace Lantern (OGD20)

OGD20 is a tall palace lantern, 2.5 to 3 m (8 to 10 ft) high, with traditional forged scrolls and large acanthus leaves made by hand in the hearth.

The acanthus at the base can be gilded, as in the close-up photo.

It is one of the lanterns our clients choose most often, and you can see it at our headquarters.

From the workshop to the driveway

The photos follow the lantern from our workshop to a client’s driveway. The video shows the details of the forging up close.

A hexagonal head with clear glass

The hexagonal lantern with clear glass sits on a stem wrapped in dense scrolls and acanthus in a gold-bronze patina, and the wide base with leaves keeps it stable. It looks good beside a front door, on a terrace or at the foot of stairs, and the patina can be matched to the joinery and the gate.
