Full Forged Gate (BP25)

BP25 is assembled from thousands of individual forged elements, joined into one flowing composition of scrolls that circle a central roundel. The outer structure is so intricate that it looks carved rather than forged.

It is built in a technique we developed ourselves, double-sided and fully protected against rain. Between brick piers with lanterns, as in the photo, it makes a commanding entrance.

A rosette at the centre

The wavy, arched top line runs over a rich infill: a round medallion with a forged rosette sits at the centre of the leaves, and scrolls, leaves and flowers spread out around it, highlighted by a gold-brown patina on a dark ground. The pattern repeats on both sides of the leaves, so the gate looks just as good from the street and from the house while fully screening the property; a matching wicket is made in the same motif. Behind the ornament a steel sheet closes the view, which is what all our full privacy gates have in common.
