Handmade Steel Wall Lamp (OGD91)
OGD91 is a plafond-style wall light: a half-round glass shade that sits close to the wall, ringed by forged leaves curled in different directions.

The round fitting is framed by flowing forged acanthus, and a brown patina softens the drawing of the leaves. It is a typical example of the metalwork we practise in our workshop, where a plain light fitting becomes a small piece of plant ornament.
Light for a gate pillar
OGD91 can be mounted on a wall or on a pillar. In the photo it lights a brick fence post just below its cap, and it works equally well beside a front door or a garden wicket, where a lamp should not stick out into the path. A pair on the two pillars of a driveway gate marks the entrance clearly after dark.
Leaves in your choice of colour
The patina can be changed to suit the brick, stone or plaster around it, and we can make the plafond in a larger or smaller diameter.
