Steel Deer – Metal Sculpture (Z4)

Z4 is a young deer with short antlers, standing alert on a cobbled path. Its coat is built up from small forged pieces that catch the light.

It is completely hand-made, and we make animal figures of any kind to order.

Listening with its head raised

The grainy texture of the steel suggests fur, and the hooves and antlers are forged separately, so the figure looks natural up close. It blends into a woodland garden and pairs well with a doe in the background.

Alert, with its head raised

The young deer stands with its head raised and its antlers spread, listening alertly, as if it had just heard someone on the path. In the winter photos it stands among stones and snow with a second figure, which shows how well steel animals work in pairs. It is a sculpture for lovers of nature and hunting. More variations on this idea are in our steel animal sculptures.
