Steel Heron Figure (Z15)

Z15 is a life-size heron caught in the middle of preening, its neck curved down to its wing. Every feather is a separate piece of steel.

It works as a free-standing garden figure, and we can make an identical heron for you.

Spread toes on slender legs

The heron combs the feathers on its back with its beak, its neck bent in an arc and the beak slightly open. Every feather was cut and shaped separately, so the wings have the depth and sheen of real plumage. The figure is made at 1:1 scale and stands on thin forged legs with spread toes.
