Fisherman on a Boat – The Old Man and the Sea (Z INOX 8)
This sculpture retells Hemingway’s The Old Man and the Sea: the old fisherman sits in his boat as a huge marlin leaps beside it.
It is 100% stainless steel, every part made by hand, with natural colours and no paint. Length about 41 cm (16 in); other sizes to order.
A marlin above the bow
The old man sits in a wooden-looking boat wearing a hat and holding an oar, while a huge marlin rises above the bow with its spear-like bill pointing at the sky. The planks of the boat, the folds of his shirt and the scales of the fish are all shaped separately. It is a gift for an angler, a sailor or a lover of Hemingway’s novels, and other scenes are shown among our stainless steel sculptures.
