The Statue Made of Steel (Z93)

Z93 is a human figure made of rings, gear wheels and steel offcuts, which the wind seems to blow away on one side. Its rust-coloured surface blends with the field and the sky behind it.

Works of this kind look best in open spaces: in sculpture parks, beside roads and in landscape gardens. We choose the material and the size to suit the site.

Hundreds of curls in the wind

From one side the figure looks whole, but along its back the body breaks up into rings and curling fragments that seem to fly away on the wind. The rust-coloured finish blends with fields and greenery, so the sculpture becomes part of its landscape. Similar commissions can be seen among our metal statues.
