Ornate Wrought Iron Garden Bridge in Glamour Style (AM1)
This arched crossing is the most richly decorated garden bridge we have built so far.

The example in the photos spans 5.2 metres (about 17 ft) and weighs roughly a tonne, yet its balustrades read almost like lace: panels of C-scrolls, leaf ends and diagonal lattice run between square newel posts topped with ball finials.
Every scroll, collar and rivet was heated in our coke-fired forge and shaped on the anvil. The side trusses are riveted by hand instead of being welded flush, which gives the frame the character of nineteenth-century ironwork.
Details you can personalise
The middle of each balustrade carries a cartouche where we can work in your family crest, a monogram or a pair of initials. The walkway is laid with oak boards on a steel frame, and a band of forged lattice beneath the deck hides the structure from view.

Installed in a Japanese-style garden
The bridge pictured here spans a planted bed among cloud-pruned pines and low shrubs. Our crew delivered it in one piece and set it on footings prepared in advance. It would look just as much at home in a formal parterre or an English landscape garden.

Size, finish and delivery
Length, width and arch height are drawn to your site. The steel is hot-dip galvanized and then painted, so the bridge can stay outdoors all year round, whether it faces a damp British winter or a Texas summer. If you would like something lighter or simpler, have a look at the rest of our wrought iron garden bridges.
