Forged Bench without Backrest (MK76)

MK76 is a classic wrought iron garden bench without a backrest: a long seat of warm brown timber on a black forged frame trimmed with gold-tipped acanthus leaves.

With no backrest to block the view, you can sit on it from either side, which makes it a good fit for the middle of a terrace, the edge of a flower bed, a circular path or a spot under a window where a taller bench would be in the way.

The frame

Shallow arches span from leg to leg beneath the seat, and forged acanthus leaves with gold tips fill the corners. The end panels are filled with a diamond lattice, and the legs finish in scrolled feet. The frame is black, the leaves carry a gold and bronze patina, and the seat is made of wide timber boards laid across the frame.

Built to last, made to measure

We make MK76 by hand in our workshop and pay particular attention to rigidity, so the bench does not wobble even when every seat is taken. The steel is protected against the weather and the wood is impregnated, so it keeps its looks for many years outdoors. Length, width and details are adapted to the place where it will stand.
