Forged Entrance Wicket with a Lion (BP151F)

BP151F features a copper lion’s head in a round frame, surrounded by forged leaves, studs and rivets under an arched crest. It sits in a wall of rough natural stone in the photo.

Copper against black

The solid, arched leaf is covered with forged leaves, small rosettes and scrolls, and the copper lion’s head sits at its centre in a decorative ring. Rows of studs follow the frame. The contrast of copper and black makes the lion a strong, sculptural accent for the whole fence, which suits the rough stone wall.

A lion for the gate, too

The same lion’s head can appear on a driveway gate or on fence spans, so the motif runs through the whole entrance. We make the wicket to measure and hot-dip galvanize it before painting.
