Forged Forest Fence in Highland Style (BM54)
BM54 is a fence forged entirely by hand from steel and installed in beautiful woodland next to a house with a thatched roof.

We are the only company in the world making fences of this kind, and we can make you the same or a similar fence with any plant or animal scenes.
You are welcome to our company gallery, the largest gallery of artistic blacksmithing in Poland, where similar work can be seen in person.
Our own design, unmistakable
We make the forest fence BM54 in our workshop as an original design that cannot be confused with the typical patterns on the market. It was created for owners who want a fence with real presence, yet expect a structure that will last for many years.
The fence is made of steel, and its form was developed so that from the very first glance you can see the handwork, the sculptural detail and the inspiration of the forest. That is why this type of fence brings the atmosphere of nature to a property while keeping its full protective role.

Depth you can see from every distance
The panels are built on a composition of dynamic lines, organic transitions and motifs taken from the forest landscape. The details are shaped by hand, which gives varied textures and soft lines, even though the whole is a steel structure.
The elements are not flat: they work in several planes and build a depth that emphasises the 3D effect. As a result the fence looks different up close and from further away, like a spatial sculpture made of metal.
Ornament that stays calm
In our workshop we make sure the artistic form never turns into excess or random decoration. The ornament is carefully proportioned, and the rhythm of the detail leads the eye in an orderly, calm way.
The highland, forest character is clear, but it remains elegant and timeless, so the fence fits the architecture of the property without the risk of looking dated after a season. It becomes the calling card of the place and raises its prestige.
Built for stability
The structure of BM54 is designed for stability, rigidity and trouble-free use. Steel ensures the panels keep their shape, and the fence copes well even with intensive use. The metal also matters for how the detail is perceived: light picks out the sculptural transitions and the texture of the surface, strengthening the impression of depth. In practice, this is a fence that looks spectacular but remains a solid barrier.
A complete entrance in one style
BM54 can be made as part of a complete property system with fence panels, a wicket gate and a driveway gate in the same style. We keep the whole consistent: the detail repeats in a controlled way, without chaos or random differences, so even a long fence keeps a uniform line along its full length. Matching pieces include our highland gate BM52 and the wicket gate with a bear BM53.
Highland fences in steel
We make metal highland fences with a strong regional character that suit houses with a traditional mountain form, timber chalets and log homes. Style here rests on a stronger line, clear proportions and details that create atmosphere without exaggeration.
We design them so the panels look consistent along their whole length and keep their character over longer runs. The pattern is carried through consistently and the divisions are clear and orderly, so the fence never looks chaotic. The ornament is part of the structure, not something added at the end, which is why the whole looks natural and solid.
This is a solution for people who want a steel fence with a distinctive character, and at the same time a stable, durable structure refined in every detail.
Why steel instead of timber
Timber fences are traditional in the mountains, but they need regular treatment and eventually rot where they meet the ground. A forged steel fence keeps the same natural look of branches, roots and bark, yet it is hot-dip galvanized and painted, so it needs no yearly maintenance and keeps its shape for decades. Colours from dark graphite to warm brown or bronze help it blend with timber walls and natural stone.
How we work on a fence like this
Every project starts with the site: we take measurements, photos of the house and the surroundings, and agree the height, the density of the ornament and the motifs, whether that is bare forest branches, birds, deer or a bear. Then we prepare a drawing for approval and forge the panels in our workshop in Dębica.
Panels are made to the exact spacing of your pillars, or with our own forged posts, so no section ever needs to be cut down on site. We deliver and install fences across Europe, and for clients further afield we supply detailed instructions and fixings for a local installer.
Forest fence FAQ
Can the fence include animals?
Yes. We can add life-size or smaller steel animals and birds to selected panels, so the fence tells a story along its length.
Is a sculpted fence secure?
Yes. Behind the organic ornament is a rigid steel frame, and the spacing of the branches can be planned to stop children and pets from slipping through.
