Hand-Made Forged Postbox (PS8)

PS8 is a hand-forged postbox in the shape of an old-fashioned postman’s satchel: a flap embossed with a post horn, two straps with buckles and a small pocket with a fastener.

Everything is made from steel sheet and bar, and the surface texture looks like worn leather.

A brown patina with lighter worn edges looks good on a brick wall and next to a timber gate.

Made to measure

The box mounts on a wall or a fence post, and we set its dimensions when you order. The post horn on the flap can be replaced with initials or a house number, and the patina can be matched to the colour of the gate and fence.

Before painting we protect the steel against corrosion, so the box will stand up to rain and frost for many years.
