Forged Shield and Swords (PPOZ2)

PPOZ2 is a wall decoration: a riveted knight’s shield with a cross, over two crossed swords.

It is made of steel by our metalwork masters, a perfect piece for a hall, a study or a castle interior. It pairs well with our Teutonic table.

Aged steel, unsharpened blades

A forged rosette sits at the centre of the shield, and the two swords behind it have different guards and pommels. The dark patina with lighter worn edges imitates long use. The shape of the shield, the type of swords and the size can be changed, and the rosette can be replaced with a family crest or initials. The swords are decorative, so their blades are not sharpened.
