Heron – Forged Steel Figure (Z16)
Z16 is a full-size heron bending its neck low, as if watching for a fish, meticulously made by a master blacksmith.
We make metal birds to order to any requirement.

Watching the water
The wings are lifted slightly above the back, and the long, slender beak and the curved neck give the figure natural movement. The sculpture is the size of a real bird, so it looks best beside a garden pond, a lake or a stream, and it can be paired with another heron in a calmer pose.
Feathers and long toes
Every feather of the wings is a separate piece of steel, and the thin legs end in long, spread toes that keep the bird steady on the ground. The silver tone of the steel looks good near water. Herons are often set in pairs by a pond, and other water birds are part of our garden animal sculptures.
