Forged Throne – A Huge Armchair Finished in Granite (MK54)

MK54 is a true throne: hand-worked steel with a seat and backrest of granite, a crown of acanthus and heavy, richly forged arms and legs.

It suits a private home or garden, and also films, galleries and exhibitions.

Dark, speckled granite

The tall back ends in a crest of scrolls, and the back and seat panels are filled with dark, speckled granite that stresses the monumental character. It suits a ballroom, a castle or a residence garden, alongside our castle dining set MK29.

Heavy, sculpted legs

The legs and armrests are massive and sculpted, each worked by hand, and together with the granite panels they make the throne very heavy and stable. In the photos it stands in a garden among old trees, which shows its monumental scale. It is one of many designs in our forged furniture.
