Large Stainless Steel Vessel – Glory (Z INOX 7)

Glory is one of our best stainless steel works: a sailing ship 120 cm (47 in) long and weighing 22 kg, made completely by hand, with ropes woven from stainless wire and every detail as realistic as possible.

Its colours are the natural discoloration of stainless steel heated during making; it is not painted, and it is very pleasant to the touch.

Colours from heat, not paint

The bronze, golden and bluish tones on the hull and sails appeared as the stainless steel was heated during forging and welding. Nothing is painted, so the surface stays smooth to the touch and keeps its colours indoors for good.

On a terrace and in a garden

In the photos the ship stands on a stone terrace in front of wooden doors and in a garden, and the close-ups show the hammered sails, the gun ports, the woven rigging and the ornate stern.
