Richly Decorated Wrought Iron Door (DZ12)

DZ12 combines wrought iron and glass in an outward-opening double door. Its flowing ornament comes from the ironwork of French palaces and is set in a polished stone surround.

It is made with the utmost attention to detail for demanding clients.

Scrolls that turn into creatures

Scrolls in a copper-brown patina fill both leaves, and some of them turn into fanciful, animal-like forms, while an openwork crest rises above the frame. There is glass beneath the ornament, so despite the richness of the detail the entrance stays bright. It is one of the most decorative doors we have made, and designs from classic to rococo are collected among our wrought iron doors.
