Steel Small Wall Lamp (OGD42)
OGD42 is a compact wall lamp: a tall glass cylinder held in a slim frame, around which a forged stem with leaves and a small flower is wound.
The stem climbs up beside the glass, its leaves curling outwards, and the lower end finishes in a spiral below the frame. A copper-brown patina highlights the hand-formed detail. The lamp joins traditional shapes and blacksmith techniques with a modern look, so it suits classic as well as contemporary buildings.
Where a large lamp will not fit
Its small size makes OGD42 ideal where a large traditional wall lamp would be too heavy or simply would not fit: narrow porches, gate pillars, stairways and arcades. The tall cylinder spreads light up and down the wall, which looks good beside a door frame.
Shade height to order
We can adjust the height of the cylinder and the colour of the patina, and make several matching lamps for a staircase or a long wall.
