Stork in the Nest – Steel Figure (Z71)

Z71 shows a stork landing on its nest, wings still spread, a scene that brings good luck in Polish folklore. The whole composition is steel.

It looks charming on a roof ridge or a tall post beside a timber house.

A nest of forged rods

The stork spreads its wings and settles onto a nest woven from forged rods. Its dark flight feathers fan out wide, and the neck and beak bend down towards the nest. In the photo the sculpture decorates the gable of a log house, where it looks like a real nest on the roof. The stork is a symbol of happiness, so a figure like this is a good idea for a housewarming gift; more birds are shown among our metal animal sculptures.
