Entrance Gate – A Tree Made of Metal (BM56)

BM56 is a driveway gate made as a metal sculpture of a tree, a majestic oak whose trunk and spreading branches fill the whole leaf.

The gate in the photos is about 4 m (13 ft) wide and opens as a single leaf.

Built for a mountain site

This gate was installed in the mountains, and at the client’s request it was adapted to the slope of the ground. We built it at an angle that follows the incline, so it opens without catching on the rising driveway. That is something a standard flat gate simply cannot do.

A gate of this type is very heavy, several hundred kilograms, and every one is prepared for automatic opening as standard.

A method that is ours alone

The gates, fences and wickets shown here are made with our own method, and we are the only company in the world that can make you an identical piece or any variation you like. Every element is forged by hand from steel, hot-dip galvanized and painted in the colour you choose.

The same oak motif continues in the matching wicket gate and fence panels you can see in the photos, so the whole frontage of the property reads as one composition.
