Viking Sculpture – Large Steel Figure (Z84)

Z84 is a Viking warrior 220 cm (87 in) tall, made entirely of steel by traditional blacksmith methods: braided beard, fur cloak, layered armour, axe and shield.

The figure is not painted; all its colours come naturally from the metal. It is very heavy and full of detail, and we can make it in any size.

Colours from the metal itself

The figure is 100% handwork. Its colours come from the metal itself rather than paint, and every element, from the beard to the boots, is forged by hand.

Standing on a forged plate

In the photos the warrior stands on a shaped steel plate on the lawn, with the axe held low, so it can be set directly on grass, gravel or a terrace. Other large figures in the same spirit are shown among our steel warrior sculptures.
