Eagle Owl with Spread Wings – Steel Sculpture (Z120)
Z120 is a steel eagle owl with its wings raised high, as if it were just landing, its talons gripping a forged branch. Its height and wingspan are both about one metre (39 in).

Hundreds of hand-made feathers
Every feather on the wings, breast and head was cut and shaped by hand and then joined into one sculpture, so the plumage has real depth when light falls across it. The ear tufts and the dark round eyes give the bird its watchful expression.

Made to crown a gate pillar
In the photos the owl stands on a stone gate pillar with a forged cap of wavy sheet and twisting stems, next to the forged branches of a designer gate. We can also set it on any other base adapted to the spot where it will stand, and the pose or size can be changed to order.

Galvanized for outdoor use
The sculpture is hot-dip galvanized, which protects the steel from corrosion in any weather, so it can stay in the garden all year. A calmer bird, perched on a stump with folded wings, is our eagle owl Z119, and more birds and animals are shown among our metal animal sculptures.
