Forged Elegant Fence Pillar (S4)

S4 is a slender, richly decorated post with an arched top, used along forged fence lines. It can replace brick pillars partly or completely.

Slender rhythm instead of heavy piers

C-shaped scrolls fill the light, openwork post along its full height, a forged finial rises from the arch, and the lower field carries leaves. In the manor-style fence BP54 the S4 posts divide the spans, giving the boundary a rhythm of slim forged elements instead of heavy masonry piers. A brown patina sits well with stone and paving, and the height and spacing are matched to the spans and the slope. More designs of this kind are collected with our wrought iron fences.
