Forged Lamp in Palace Style (OGD60)

OGD60 is an opulent lantern in black and gold, designed to crown a masonry fence or gate pillar, or to stand on its own in the garden.

The lantern has frosted panes and is topped with forged lilies, and its frame is formed by rich, gilded acanthus on a black ground, so the gold shows every leaf even by day. In the photo it sits above a gilded palace gate, where lamp and gate read as one design.
