Antique-Style Forged Gate (BP40)

BP40 is tall and stately.

Delicate openwork ornament with rounded, almost spherical curls rests on a solid forged frame, and above the frame the decoration keeps climbing, forming a crown that ends in a slender spire.

Its classical character suits mansions and palaces, like the porticoed house in the photo where it frames the view of the entrance.

A tall entrance portal

The decoration is very rich, built from many hand-forged elements with winding and rounded forms, and the solid frame beneath gives the gate a sense of mass and lightness at the same time. Above the leaves rises a crest of spearheads and scrolls, and the whole field is filled with a dense, symmetrical ornament of hand-forged spirals.
