Forged Bench of Independence (MK1C)

MK1C was made for a Polish municipality to mark the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining independence. It is a variant of our MK1 garden bench, with a commemorative plaque in the backrest.

We can adapt it with any coat of arms, emblem or inscription, which makes it a good choice for towns, schools and memorials.

Commemorative benches

Benches like this mark anniversaries, honour donors or celebrate events. The base model stands in our gallery in Dębica, and the video shows the details.

A special project

The starting point was the proven MK1 frame, which we deliberately reworked for this commission. The bench was forged by hand, with no series production, and the changes covered both details and form: a forged eagle now rises above the central plaque, and smaller plaques sit at the ends of the backrest. One of them records the local community project under which the bench was funded, another lists the people who made it possible. It is one of the few commemorative designs in our forged benches, made for a specific anniversary.
