WK3 is a church stained glass window of the Madonna and Child, made in the traditional lead technique.

The image follows the style of a revered icon, with Mary and the Child Jesus in rich robes against a golden background, under a pointed arch.

The window is in Jodłówka-Wałki, in the Lesser Poland region.

Made to last for centuries

Like all our church windows, it is painted with metal oxides and fired in a fusing kiln at 600 °C (1,112 °F). This gives the highest quality of execution: the painting is fused into the glass and cannot be rubbed off or washed away.

Deep blues and golds glow especially beautifully when the morning sun shines into the church.
