St Christopher Stained Glass Window – Lead Technique (WK5)
WK5 is a church stained glass window of St Christopher, the patron saint of travellers and drivers.

The saint wades through a river with a staff in his hand, carrying the Child Jesus on his shoulder, against a sky of blue and turquoise glass.
The window is in a church in the Lesser Poland region, where it stands next to a window of St Joseph.
Durable painting
All the painting on the window was made with metal oxides, which guarantee the highest durability. After firing, the details of faces, hands and robes are part of the glass itself, so they do not fade in the sun and cannot be scratched off.
Leaded lines follow the waves of the river and the folds of the cloak, giving the whole scene movement and rhythm.
